In the last several years our LIT program has grown and we are thrilled to say that it is bursting at the seams! With this is mind, we are excited to announce a NEW program in 2020 called Worship LIT!
Worship LIT will combine the benefits of the Leader in Training program with a direct focus on worship through music. Individuals accepted into this program will gain specific training in the area of music and worship.
It is our goal that within Worship LIT we will create two teams that work in a support staff role and also serve in music ministry at KGC this summer. We are looking for vocalists, drummers, guitar/bass players, and keyboard players.
Worship LIT is open to applicants who are post-secondary age or have completed grade 10 high school by June 2020. Successful applicants must have a heart for worship and basic musical capabilities. Formal or informal musical training is a benefit. Twelve applicants will be selected based on current involvement, skill, and desire to grow in worship arts.
Space is limited in the LIT program. Participants are chosen based on an application process including references. Where more applications are received then we have spots for, age and readiness for the program will be considered. The program is designed for teens/young adults who are serious about their faith and desire to develop their leadership skills through discipleship and mentorship.

MEET THE DIRECTOR
Camille Parkman has been ministering as a singer, songwriter, worship leader and speaker for three decades. Camille’s passion for worshiping Jesus comes through in the songs she writes, as well as her heart for “the lost, the least, and the littlest”. Highlights in her career include being nominated for 4 Covenant Awards and being played on over 700 radio stations internationally. She has also represented Compassion Canada for the last 6 years, and as a couple the Parkman's have seen approximately 2000 kids sponsored with Compassion.
Raised on a farm in Saskatchewan, Camille grew up at the piano and began singing and writing in her teen years after finding Jesus. Camille finished her ARCT in piano, and attended Eston College as a Music Major, where she met her husband, author/speaker Rob Parkman. In 2013, Camille went on to complete her BA in Mus. through Briercrest. Since 2013 she has released 3 albums and is currently working towards a new worship album for 2020.
The Parkman's have three awesome sons – Joshua, Joseph and Micah, and their family has enjoyed spending time at Kedleston for many summers. Rob and Camille have been involved at Kedleston as speakers and worship leaders, and together led the LIT program in years past. Camille is excited to move into this new phase of directing Worship LIT!
