LIT Worship will combine the benefits of the Leader in Training program with a direct focus on worship through music. MEET THE DIRECTOR

CAMILLE PARKMAN

Camille Parkman has been ministering as a singer, songwriter, worship leader and speaker for three decades. Camille’s passion for worshiping Jesus comes through in the songs she writes, as well as her heart for “the lost, the least, and the littlest”.  Highlights in her career include being nominated for 4 Covenant Awards and being played on over 700 radio stations internationally.  She has also represented Compassion Canada for the last 6 years, and as a couple the Parkman's have seen approximately 2000 kids sponsored with Compassion.

Raised on a farm in Saskatchewan, Camille grew up at the piano and began singing and writing in her teen years after finding Jesus. Camille finished her ARCT in piano, and attended Eston College as a Music Major, where she met her husband, author/speaker Rob Parkman. In 2013, Camille went on to complete her BA in Mus. through Briercrest. Since 2013 she has released 3 albums and is currently working towards a new worship album for 2020.

The Parkman's have three awesome sons – Joshua, Joseph and Micah, and their family has enjoyed spending time at Kedleston for many summers. Rob and Camille have been involved at Kedleston as speakers and worship leaders, and together led the LIT program in years past. Camille is excited to move into this new phase of directing LIT Worship!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do I need to attend the entire training in April?
A: Yes. The bulk of your training will take place in April. Acceptance priority into the program will be given to those able to attend the full training in April.

Q: Will I be in a cabin with campers if I am part of the LIT Worship program?
A: Not Likely. Our plan is to have Worship LIT's serve as support staff with part of their role specific to music/worship. You’ll be involved in skills/supervision/gratis, but your main role will focus on worship.

Q: What if I’m not currently involved with a worship team but have been in the past? Can I still apply?
A: Yes. You are welcome to apply!

Q: I have skilled musical abilities but haven’t ever been on a worship team. I desire to grow in this area. Is LIT Worship right for me?
A: Submit your application and we’ll do our best to figure that out!

Q: I don’t play any instruments but enjoy singing. Can I still be considered for LIT Worship?
A: Absolutely. We need vocalists in LIT Worship as well!
