WHAT IS FISHING CAMP?

This is a 3 day/2 night camp where the activities are focused on fishing.

Special events include fishing instructions from real “Fishin’ Pros”, a fishing derby for bragging rights, and a fish fry. 

If you’ve got a fishing boat feel free to bring it. If you’re willing to take other campers that would be great!  Please let us know if you intend to do that.  If you don’t have a fishing boat we will work to have a boat for you to join.  However, some of the biggest fish caught last year were caught right off our shores and dock. 

Besides discovering a few new fishing tips or fishing holes, come prepared to discover more about the Creator of the fish.

This camp is intended for parents/guardians and one or more children.  We also encourage Aunts and Uncles or Grandmas and Grandpas to bring their special “kids”.  We will not have cabin leaders available - children may not register on their own. 

So join us for KGC Fishing Camp!  Space will be limited so register early.  Camp size will be approximately 50 people. 

Please bring your own fishing rod and tackle (see home page for everything else you will need).
