Bringing your child to camp:
Prior to the camp beginning you will receive a detailed email with what to pack, when to come, and what to expect that day. What you can expect that first day is:
-
Drive to camp
-
Come down to the "Big Tab" which is our main chapel, meeting space, and office.
-
There you will register and meet your child's cabin leader
-
You can go and help your child get settled and "move in" and then you are free to go! You can preview the accommodations here. The Lakeside cabins have their own washroom and shower in the kid's cabin whereas the Plainsview and Lakeridge cabins have a shared washroom building nearby.

You can purchase day passes for our Family Camps (Fishing Camp, Family Adventure Camp, or Family Camps) in our registration system. Our open house is free but pre-registration expedites your check in!
With a day pass you have access to all amentities. You can use any washroom facility to change. We don't have lockers onsite so you may want to stow your belongings in your car or have a large beach bag with you. If you are planning on climbing on Jacob's Ladder, closed toed shoes are required.
We have a canteen onsite selling snacks and drinks. You day pass will include lunch and supper.

After you register for a Family Camp a detailed list of what to pack will be sent in the weeks before camp. Briefly, you will need to bring all the essentials your family needs -- bedding, clothing, lawn chairs, beach toys, towels, etc. We provide 3 meals per day, activities, chapel services, childcare during services. and kids-oriented programming. We do a lot of activities as a group -- for example, meals are served certain times and chapel services are scheduled -- but there is lots of free time and down time to do you own thing as a family too. A recent family camp schedule looked like:
